Come and experience a dinner experience in the best seats of The Berg restaurant at the Chef's Table in the heart of the archipelago.


Our Chef's Table evenings continue around three different themes - we get to enjoy our own team's themed menus, visits from wine importors and guest tastings.



Our own chef Lauri Saarikoski has created two menu sets, the themes of which are the sea and the forest. For the wine producers' dinner, we have guests from Antinori and Gustave Lorenz winimpoters. Future guest chefs include e.g. Wilma Wilms from restaurant atNordhem in Gothenburg, young chef of the year Otto Hietamies from Kulta Kitchen, kitchen manager Tero Mäntykangas of Lapland Hotels, Kari Aihinen of Roster and Serko Rantanen of BoomNam & Lily Lee.

The Chef's Table evenings continue with our own team's special menu, the theme of which is the forest. The Berg's team of top chefs, led by the restaurant's chef Lauri Saarikoski, is responsible for the implementation. The evening includes a seven-course surprise menu.

The Berg's Chef's Table wine dinners include a wonderful set of menus matched with the wines. Wines are represented on site by the importers of Antinori and Gustav Lorenzi and top Finnish sommeliers.

Visiting top chefs

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, visiting top chefs conjure up their seven-course signature menu at the Chef's Table. The wonderful dishes always contain the fresh flavors of the season and consist of the best available ingredients.
